Du bist die treibende Kraft hinter einer zuverlässigen und robusten Echtzeit-Videoübertragung sowie Netzwerkverbindung zwischen unseren teleoperierten Staplern und den Remotefahrern. 

Durch die kontinuierliche Optimierung unserer Videostreaming-Pipeline und Weiterentwicklung des Netzwerk-Setups sorgst du für maximale Performance und Stabilität im täglichen Einsatz. 

Deine Aufgabe: Ermögliche unseren Fahrer:innen ein nahtloses und robustes Remote-Erlebnis – unabhängig von Standort oder Anforderung.

Deine Aufgaben
  • Du entwickelst leistungsfähige, echtzeitfähige Video- und Audioübertragungen für unsere teleoperierten Fahrzeuge
  • Du erschaffst smarte Features, die Funktionalität und Nutzererlebnis weiter verbessern
  • Du optimierst unsere Streaming-Pipeline kontinuierlich, insbesondere in Bezug auf Latenz und Bitrate
  • Du bist verantwortlich für die Optimierung und Weiterentwicklung des Hardware-Setups
  • Du stellst redundante und stabile Netzwerkverbindungen in Echtzeit sicher – für maximale Verfügbarkeit und Performance
  • Du entwickelst intelligente WiFi-Roaming-Funktionen für den Forklift-Client
  • Du konzipierst und implementierst Monitoring-Tools, um Systemperformance und Zuverlässigkeit jederzeit im Blick zu haben
  • Du optimierst gemeinsam mit dem Team den Datenfluss von ROS und GStreamer auf Netzwerkebene
Dein Profil
  • Du hast ein abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Informatik oder einen vergleichbaren Hintergrund
  • Du bringst fundierte Kenntnisse in Python und C++ mit
  • Du verfügst über praktische Erfahrung und ein Grundverständnis in den Bereichen Computer Vision und Netzwerktechnik
  • Du kennst die Grundlagen der Softwareentwicklung und hast idealerweise Erfahrung mit ROS2 und GStreamer
  • Analytisches Denken sowie eine schnelle Auffassungsgabe zeichnen dich aus – neue Themen eignest du dir zügig und eigenständig an
  • Du gehst Herausforderungen proaktiv an, analysierst und löst Probleme zuverlässig und selbstständig
  • Deine hohe Selbstorganisation und dein strukturierter Arbeitsstil sorgen für Qualität und Effizienz im Projekt
  • Du überzeugst durch eine professionelle und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise – sowohl im Team als auch eigenständig
  • Du verfügst über sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse (mindestens B2) und gute Englischkenntnisse, um dich sicher im Team und mit internationalen Kolleg:innen auszutauschen

Your mission
You will be the driving force behind a reliable and high-performance real-time video transmission and network connection between our teleoperated forklifts and remote drivers. 

By continuously optimizing our video streaming pipeline and developing the network setup, you will ensure maximum performance and stability in daily operations.

Your task is to provide our drivers with a seamless and robust remote experience, regardless of location or requirements.

Your tasks
  • Develop robust high-performance, real-time video and audio transmissions for our teleoperated vehicles
  • Create smart features that further enhance functionality and the user experience
  • Continuously optimize our streaming pipeline, particularly concerning latency and bitrate
  • Take responsibility for the optimization and further development of the hardware setup
  • Ensure redundant and stable real-time network connections for maximum availability and performance
  • Develop intelligent Wi-Fi roaming functions for the forklift client
  • Design and implement monitoring tools to keep a constant watch on system performance and reliability
  • Collaborate with the team to optimize the data flow of ROS and GStreamer at the network level
Your profile
  • You have a degree in Computer Science or a comparable educational background
  • You possess strong knowledge of Python and C++
  • You have practical experience and a fundamental understanding of computer vision and network technology
  • You are familiar with software development fundamentals and ideally have experience with ROS2 and GStreamer
  • You are characterized by analytical thinking and quick comprehension, allowing you to learn new topics quickly and independently
  • You proactively tackle challenges, analyzing and solving problems reliably and on your own
  • Your strong self-organization and structured work style ensure project quality and efficiency
  • You demonstrate a professional and solution-oriented work approach, both in a team and independently
  • You are proficient in German (at least B2 level) and have good English skills, enabling you to communicate confidently with your team and international colleagues
