Deine Mission

Als erfahrener Netzwerkentwickler wirst du Teil unseres Entwicklungsteams und verantwortlich für eine zuverlässige Datenübertragung zwischen unseren teleoperierten Gabelstaplern und dem Remote-Driving-System in industriellen Umgebungen. Deine Hauptaufgabe ist die Konzeption und Umsetzung eines drahtlosen Kommunikationssystems mit niedriger Latenz, hoher Verfügbarkeit und Stabilität für Echtzeitanwendungen.

Deine Herausforderung wird es sein, unsere Remote-Gabelstapler in unterschiedlichste Netzwerkumgebungen zu integrieren und einen skalierbaren Prozess zu entwickeln, der gleichbleibend hohe Performance und Uptime in jeder Umgebung gewährleistet.

In enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem gesamten Entwicklerteam arbeitest du daran, Technologien im WLAN- und 5G-Umfeld weiterzuentwickeln und zu optimieren, um maximale Robustheit zu erreichen. Im Rahmen der Umsetzung von IT-Sicherheitsrichtlinien wird deine Expertise auch in der Architektur unseres Systems gebraucht.

Deine Aufgaben

Du stellst eine sichere und redundante Netzwerkverbindung für unsere Fahrzeuge in anspruchsvollen Industrieumgebungen sicher.
Du optimierst drahtlose Verbindungen, um Latenz zu minimieren und gleichzeitig Verfügbarkeit sowie Zuverlässigkeit zu maximieren.
Du bringst die VPN-Übertragung unserer Fahrzeug-Videodaten über verschiedene Standorte und Fahrzeuge hinweg auf das nächste Level.
Du entwirfst und implementierst neue Technologien und Prozesse, um unsere IT-Sicherheit kontinuierlich zu stärken.
Du entwickelst Software-Schnittstellen, mit denen du die Netzwerkverbindungen aktiv überwachst und steuerst.
Du bist die Schnittstelle zu anderen Teams und unseren Kunden, wenn es um die Integration unseres Systems in deren Netzwerke geht.
Du hast neue Netzwerktechnologien immer im Blick und bringst proaktiv Vorschläge ein, um unsere Infrastruktur mit den passenden Tools und Technologien stetig zu verbessern.

Dein Profil

Dein Fundament ist ein abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Informatik, Informationstechnologie oder einer verwandten Fachrichtung.
Du kennst dich bestens mit Technologien wie Wifi, LAN, Switching, Firewalls und 5G aus.
Du hast bereits Erfahrung im Aufbau, Betrieb und bei der Fehlerbehebung komplexer Netzwerksysteme gesammelt – im Idealfall sogar in industriellen Echtzeit-Anwendungen.
Wenn du zusätzlich Erfahrung im Bereich IT-Security mitbringst, ist das ein großes Plus.
Pluspunkte sammelst du außerdem mit guten Programmierkenntnissen, vor allem in C++, Python oder Bash.
Du bist kommunikationsstark, ein echter Teamplayer, kannst aber genauso gut eigenverantwortlich Projekte vorantreiben.
Du sprichst sehr gut Deutsch und Englisch, um dich problemlos im Team und mit unseren internationalen Kunden austauschen zu können.

Your mission

As an experienced network engineer, you will join our development team and take responsibility for ensuring reliable data transmission between our teleoperated forklifts and the remote-driving system in industrial environments. Your main task will be to design and implement a wireless communication system with low latency, high availability, and stability for real-time applications.

Your challenge will be to integrate our remote forklifts into a wide variety of network environments and develop a scalable process that ensures consistently high performance and uptime across all setups.

Working closely with the entire development team, you will help optimize and advance technologies in the WiFi and 5G space to maximize system robustness. Additionally, your expertise will play a key role in shaping our system architecture as part of our IT security compliance efforts.

Your tasks

You ensure a robust and redundant network connection for our vehicles in challenging industrial environments
You optimize wireless connections to minimize latency while maximizing both availability and reliability
You take the VPN transmission of our vehicle video data to the next level, spanning multiple sites and vehicles
You design and implement new technologies and processes to continuously enhance our IT security
You develop software interfaces that allow you to actively monitor and control network connections
You act as the liaison to other teams and our customers regarding the integration of our system into their networks
You continuously keep an eye on new networking technologies and proactively propose improvements to ensure our infrastructure evolves with the right tools and innovations

Your profile

Your foundation is a completed degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
You have extensive expertise with technologies such as WiFi, LAN, switching, firewalls, and 5G networks
You possess hands-on experience in building, operating, and troubleshooting complex network systems – ideally even in industrial real-time applications
If you additionally bring experience in IT security, that's a significant advantage
You'll also score points with strong programming skills, particularly in C++, Python, or Bash
You're an excellent communicator and a true team player, but you can just as effectively drive projects forward independently
You speak German and English fluently, enabling you to communicate seamlessly within the team and with our international clients
